It’s official! Pakatan gets its certificate of registration from RoS

PETALING JAYA: The Registrar of Societies (RoS) has delivered Pakatan Harapan's certificate of registration as a coalition.

The certificate was delivered to coalition chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad (pic) at the Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Pribumi) headquarters on Thursday morning.

Home Ministry secretary-general Datuk Seri Alwi Ibrahim presented the certificate to Dr Mahathir, according to a post on Pakatan’s Facebook page.

Also present were Pribumi president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng, and Parti Amanah Negara president Mohamad Sabu.

In a tweet, PKR vice-president Tian Chua said the RoS delivered the registration certificate at 11.20am.

At a rally in Padang Timur on Wednesday (May 16), Muhyiddin said the Home Ministry had approved Pakatan’s application as a coalition.
