Man dies after falling on his face from 5th floor of shopping mall

GEORGE TOWN: A 40-year-old man fell to his death from the 5th floor of a shopping mall here.

The victim fell next to a booth selling phones on the ground floor of the mall on Friday (April 20).

In a statement, George Town OCPD Asst Comm Anuar Omar said the victim was found at 5.15pm and pronounced dead by the medical team from Penang Hospital, who arrived at the scene.

Police ruled out foul play, according to initial investigations.
