Family given back-pay owed to maid

BUKIT MERTAJAM: The family of Indonesian maid Adelina Lisao, who slept in the porch with the fa­mily dog and died shortly after being rescued, received the back-pay owed to her.

Indonesian Consul-General Iwan­shah Wibisono said Adelina’s employer gave her next of kin RM69,300, which is understood to be her entire salary since she started work in December 2014.
