Man killed, wife hurt after bus crashes into motorcycle along Jalan Batang Kali-Genting Highlands


HULU SELANGOR: A 50-year-old man was killed while his wife was seriously injured in an accident involving two buses and a motorcycle along Jalan Batang Kali-Genting Highlands.

Hulu Selangor OCPD Supt Lim Bak Phai said the accident occurred at around 1.30pm on Wednesday.

"The driver of the first bus lost control of the vehicle and swerved into the opposite lane before hitting a motorcycle which was then dragged under the bus.

"The motorcyclist, Suri Cheng Hong, was killed on the spot while his wife who was riding pillion sustained serious injuries.

"At the same time, another bus grazed the sides of the first bus to avoid a collision," said Supt Lim, adding that the passengers of both buses were unhurt.
