How the months came to be

Did you know there were once only 10 months in a year? And that the calendar was all-important to farmers, who did not have HBO to tell them that "winter is coming"? Then the Romans came along and decided to make things more accurate, adding more months and renaming a couple of them after some prominent citizens.
