GEORGE TOWN: A number of areas on Penang island were hit by flash floods on Friday following an overnight downpour.
A spokesman for the Fire and Rescue Department said among the affected areas were Kampung Masjid, Kampung Rawa, Jalan P. Ramlee, Lintang P. Ramlee, Kampung Makam and Jalan Kuantan.
