PETALING JAYA: Things are heating up within PKR as Latheefa Koya continues her spat with Rafizi Ramli, this time over the foiled Kajang Move.
The PKR central leadership council member took to Facebook on Wednesday night and revealed the damage the move had caused the party, and the coalition as a whole.
Rafizi, former PKR strategic director , was the "architect" of Kajang Move, which aimed to unseat Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim as the Selangor Mentri Besar.
Latheefa said although she had restrained herself from any public spats, Rafizi, whom she referred as 'this boy', continued to issue statements "in total breach of party discipline".
"I have now decided to reveal the truth about this fellow. Here's some truths Malaysians didn't know," Latheefa said.
"Yes, the architect of the fatal Kajang Move is now trying to push the blame on people like (former Bersih chairman) S Ambiga who had opposed it then," she said.
She said the Kajang Move happened because Rafizi wanted to make sure Datuk Seri Azmin Ali, then already an assemblyman, would not become the mentri besar.
"We could have avoided the terrible mess that happened because of it, and Anwar (PKR defacto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim) would still be with us now, if not for his Kajang Move," she said.
Anwar was sentenced to a five-year jail term for sodomy on March 7, 2014, a few days before the Kajang by-election nomination day, a move which opposition leaders claimed was an attempt to halt Anwar from being fielded as a candidate.
Despite receiving no approval for the party, Latheefa said "he and his sidekick" secretly planned it while keeping the political bureau in the dark.
"They convinced Anwar that DAP and PAS have agreed when in fact PAS had never agreed!
"His sidekick went to Kelantan and claimed to have gotten the blessings from (the late PAS spiritual leader) Nik Aziz (Nik Mat).
"In fact, Nik Aziz had asked for a dossier with all the details as to why TSKI (Khalid) must be removed. Instead, this joker and his sidekick decided to go on a roadshow with the dossier.
"For this his sidekick was sued and had to pathetically apologise in court!," she said.
Latheefa said the Kajang Move had strained the relationship between PAS and PKR as PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang had never agreed to it.
"What did this budak (boy) do then? He immediately revealed that prior to GE13, Hadi never wanted Anwar as PM and that in fact Hadi wanted KuLi (Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah)," she said.
Latheefa claimed that Rafizi did not take into consideration the possibility of Anwar being convicted following the Kajang Move.
"I asked him - what if Anwar is convicted (because during that time, the prosecution's appeal against Anwar's case was still being fixed for case management).
"You know what his answer was? "OOPS I DIDNT THINK OF THAT!" Will he now deny saying that to me??!," wrote Latheefa on FB.
Ambiga had openly criticised the Kajang Move and strongly advised against it. Rafizi then pretended to apologise publicly and claimed he will explain to the public, Latheefa said.
"Now, the tune is all changed. He claims now like a really sly cunning fellow that Ambiga also gave him some documents, to insinuate that Ambiga partook in the removal of Khalid - when in fact he knows very well she was never involved in that or any other party plans or agenda," she said.
