KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysians who suspect they have Hepatitis C should get themselves screened even though the treatment is not yet affordable.
Creating awareness and conducting screening, especially for those in high-risk groups, is important so that they can be monitored, said International Advisory group member for the Drugs for Neglected Diseases Institute (DNDi) for Hepatitis C Tan Sri Dr Ismail Merican.
