New artificial reef habitat in Cherok Paloh soon

KUANTAN: The Pahang Fisheries Department will complete the installation of 23 artificial reefs off Cherok Paloh near here at a cost of RM279,000 next month.

Its director Datuk Adnan Hussain said each of the 12-tonne cuboid-shaped concrete structures is expected to provide a conducive habitat for fish.
