BANK’S PICKLEBALL CHAMPIONSHIP PROMISES WHOLESOME EXPERIENCE

Sporting events today have evolved beyond competition, becoming platforms for people to connect, discover new experiences and embrace healthier lifestyles together.

This growing shift is reflected in the AmBank Malaysia Pickleball Championship 2026, happening from June 19 to 21 at the Playa Racquet Club, PARC Subang.

The AmBank Group returns as the championship’s title sponsor for the second consecutive year as the event continues to grow beyond the courts, expanding into a vibrant weekend experience that blends sport, wellness, lifestyle and community.

Organised by Score Sports Management, the championship reflects the bank’s commitment towards supporting active lifestyles and meaningful community experiences through sport. What began as a competitive pickleball tournament is shaping into a larger platform that welcomes players, families and visitors of all ages.

As one of the world’s fastest-growing sports, pickleball has become increasingly popular for its accessibility and social nature. It is one of the few sports where teenagers, working adults and even older family members can comfortably play together, naturally creating moments of interaction across generations.

This inclusive spirit is what defines the AmBank Malaysia Pickleball Championship 2026.

While hundreds of players are expected to compete across multiple categories throughout the three-day tournament, the overall experience extends far beyond the matches themselves.

Visitors can expect a lively atmosphere filled with wellness activations, interactive booths, pop-up vendors and family-

friendly activities designed to create an enjoyable weekend destination for everyone.

At the heart of this expanded experience is Together-Gather, the wellness edition pop-up market that brings together a curated mix of fitness, healthy living and lifestyle brands. The space aims to encourage more mindful, active lifestyles through products, experiences and community-driven activations.

Participating brands include Sunway Medical Centre, Tealive, Super Matcha, Franklin Pickleball Malaysia, Natureloop, Karta, Alir, Pati Espresso, BFT and Helios, alongside emerging local businesses offering healthy food and beverages, fitness apparel, supplements, sustainable products and pickleball-related merchandise.

There will also be kid-friendly experiences and interactive activities throughout the weekend, creating an environment where both adults and children can participate and enjoy the atmosphere together.

Adding another meaningful layer to the championship is TogetHER, a women-focused initiative centred around wellness, empowerment and connection.

Through curated workshops and sharing sessions, the programme aims to create engaging spaces where women can connect, recharge and discover new experiences together.

The weekend stage programme is expected to feature a range of wellness and educational sessions, including fitness and nutrition sharing workshops, sustainable craft activities and health talks focused on sports recovery and injury prevention.

Among the sessions are eco-friendly DIY charm workshops by Natureloop, strength-training and nutrition-sharing sessions with fitness community partners, and health-sharing talks by orthopaedic specialists from Sunway Medical Centre on topics, such as pickleball-related injuries, joint care and injury prevention for active individuals.

In many ways, the championship reflects how modern sporting events are becoming more focused on shared experiences. What happens on the court sidelines becomes just as meaningful as what happens in it.

For AmBank Group, supporting the championship goes beyond the game itself. It represents a shared belief in creating accessible, engaging, positive lifestyle experiences that bring people from all walks of life together through sport and wellness.

As the AmBank Malaysia Pickleball Championship 2026 returns, visitors can look forward to more than just thrilling matches on court.

They can expect wellness, food, shopping, learning and connection in one vibrant celebration.
