MALACCA: Schoolboys from broken families and those in the lower income group tend to join triads to seek attention, says a non-governmental organisation that deals with thwarting crime here and in Negri Sembilan.
Malacca’s United Anti-Crime Associations chairman R. Saravana Theertha said most of these schoolboys were lured into joining triads through peer influence or their desire to be seen as heroes.
