Firm RM15,000 poorer after marking up price by RM1.50

ALOR SETAR: A company operating a supermarket in Sungai Petani was fined RM15,000 by the Sessions Court here for profiteering.

ECN World Marketing Sdn Bhd was found to have increased the price of a 600ml refill pack of shower cream from RM7.90 to RM9.40 at its supermarket Econo Jaya on April 21.
