Dentures knocked out after baring teeth over JPJ check

GEORGE TOWN: A fracas between a retired civil servant, his two sons and Road Transport Department (JPJ) officers resulted in smashed dentures when a toll booth bar struck the retiree in Jawi, Nibong Tebal.

It is learnt that the officers flagged down the car driven by the retiree’s son at 11.10am on Saturday but the instruction was ignored. The retiree was earlier spotted sticking his head out from the car to take some pictures.
