Malaysia at the 2016 Paralympics – what to look out for


PETALING JAYA: With the 2016 Paralympics kicking off in Rio de Janeiro in the early hours of Thursday morning – at 5.30am Malaysian Time – here are the dates and events to watch out for over the next 11 days at the games.

There are three events to look out for on Sunday, Sept 11; the first being at 4.38am Malaysian Time/5.38pm Brazil time when the men's 100m T36 final kicks off as there is a high possibility that Malaysian sprinter Mohd Ridzuan Mohd Puzi will have a shot at a gold medal in this event, going by his medal-winning performance at the 2015 IPC World Athletics Championships.
