Ipoh City Hall retracts ‘no saree’ invitation card

IPOH: Following the outcry over a “no saree” directive issued to staff to a special Hari Raya Aidilfitri gathering, Ipoh City Hall has retracted the controversial invitation card.

The event, scheduled to be held at Ipoh Town Hall on July 1 morning, has, however, not been cancelled.
