Fire breaks out at Damansara Perdana building

Two fire engines and 11 personnel were dispatched from the Damansara and Section 7 firestations.

PETALING JAYA: A fire broke out at the PJ Trade Centre building in Damansara Perdana here on Wednesday evening.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director of operations Mohd Sani Harul said the department were alerted about the fire at around 4.16pm.

"Two fire engines and 11 personnel were dispatched from the Damansara and Section 7 firestations and arrived at the scene about nine minutes later.

"The fire originated from a 200-foot section of high voltage cable there and was put out shortly after," he said, adding that no one was injured in the fire.
