KUALA LUMPUR: A weak earthquake measuring 2.1 on the Richter scale occurred in Ranau, Sabah on Friday morning.
The Meteorological Department said in a statement that the epicentre of the quake was located at 6.1 degrees north and 116.7 degrees east, and 11 km north of Ranau at 9.22am.
