Johor delegate: Do not use GNP as yardstick

THE race to become a high income nation by 2020 should not be measured in monetary terms, said Johor Umno delegate Suhaimi Salleh.

“We need to move away from using the Gross National Product as a yardstick but take into account inclusiveness and the well-being of the rakyat,” he said when debating the presidential speech.
