Lawyer group’s chief quits Umno posts to concentrate on business


PETALING JAYA: In a bid to concentrate on and expand his company’s business interests, Malaysian Volunteer Lawyers Association (SukaGuam) chairman Datuk Khairul Anwar Rahmat (pic) has announced his decision to quit all his Umno posts.

In a press statement released by his corporate firm on Saturday, Khairul said he is resigning as Kluang division youth chief, Johor Umno deputy youth chief and Umno Legal secretariat chairman.
