KUALA LUMPUR: A weak earthquake, measuring 2.8 on the Richter scale, occurred in Ranau, Sabah, at 10.08am Thursday, according to the Meteorological Department.
It said in a statement that the epicentre of the quake was 25 kilometres northwest of Ranau town.
