MRT seeks benchmark designs by students


PETALING JAYA: The contractor for the underground portion of the Sungai Buloh-Kajang (SBK) stretch of the Klang Valley MRT is inviting aspiring designers to leave their mark on the country’s maiden MRT line.

MMC-Gamuda KVMRT (T) Sdn Bhd (MGKT) is inviting students of local design institutions to create “forward-looking and inno-va­tive” bench designs for the seven underground stations – Mu­zium Negara, Pasar Seni, Mer­deka, Bukit Bintang, Tun Razak Ex­change, Cochrane and Maluri.
