Restaurant raided for selling roti telur at RM2.50


GEORGE TOWN: A famous nasi kandar restaurant in Bukit Jambul was raided Saturday by the Enforcement Division of the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry for selling roti canai at RM2.50.

State Enforcement deputy head Chin Ching Chung said the inspection was carried out at 10.40am after the department received a complaint that the price of roti telur prior to the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) had been RM1.80.
