Anwar’s character can be questioned in defamation case, court hears

KUALA LUMPUR: It’s fair game to question Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim about his sodomy conviction in a defamation suit, the High Court heard.

Lawyer Tan Sri Dr Mohd Shafee Abdullah (pic) said Thursday that by filing a defamation suit, Anwar had opened his character to scrutiny.
