Action being taken to deal with stranded migrants, says Najib

PETALING JAYA: Steps are being taken by the Foreign Ministry and National Security Council (NSC) to deal with the humanitarian crisis that has seen a rise in migrants being stranded at sea. 

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said he was very concerned with the plight of migrants in the Asean region, some of whom have already reached Malaysian shores, while others are still trying.
