Crowd listens to speeches, poetry at anti-GST protest

KUALA LUMPUR: A gathering to protest against the Goods and Services Tax (GST) at Padang Merbok has so far been peaceful.

Organised by PAS Dewan Ulama, the gathering which started at 4pm Saturday appeared to be more like a regular political ceramah than a protest, with the crowd listening attentively to speeches from PAS leaders.
