Prisons Dept: Anwar not giving talks and counselling sessions to inmates


KUALA LUMPUR: The Prisons Department has denied that PKR adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who is currently serving a sentence in Sungai Buloh Prison, has given religious lectures and counselling sessions to inmates.

In a statement on Monday, the department said it had special officers or would invite qualified personalities to conduct counselling and spiritual programmes.
