PETALING JAYA: The quality of Internet coverage in rural areas should be improved to ensure smooth implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST), Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong said.
Dr Wee, who is also MCA deputy president, said businesses, including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), needed time to adjust to the GST software and system during its initial implementation.
