Pregnant woman, child killed in Camerons landslide


IPOH: A pregnant woman and her one-year-old son were killed during a landslide in Cameron Highlands on Tuesday. 

M. Nitiahwaty, 24, who was eight months pregnant, and R. Rubeniswaran were buried alive in the landslide, which occurred at a hill behind their house at KM46 Jalan Brinchang-Tringkap at about 5.30am, said Cameron Highlands police chief DSP Wan Zahari Wan Busu.
