Cops await autopsy on headless body


GEORGE TOWN: Police are still waiting for the post-mortem report to identify whether the body found without the head and arms in a gunny sack at a canal in Jalan Kampung Permatang, Sungai Bakap Thursday is linked to a head found in Bukit Mertajam on Monday.

Penang police chief Datuk Abdul Rahim Hanafi said an autopsy on the headless and armless body was expected to be conducted by Penang Hospital pathology specialist Datuk Dr Bhupinder Singh Friday.
