Terengganu flood victims has risen to 47


KUALA TERENGGANU: The number of flood victims evacuated in Kuala Terengganu has risen to 47 Tuesday compared with 20 people on Monday.

According to a statement from the State Security Council, the victims comprised 15 families who were evacuated from their homes in Chendering, here and Gong Badak in Kuala Nerus, which were inundated Monday afternoon.

Thirty-eight victims from 10 families are now staying at two relief centres in Sekolah Kebangsaan Cendering and nine victims from five families are staying at the Dewan Sivik Gong Badak.
