SHAH ALAM: Selangor deputy speaker Nik Nazmi has been acquitted of a charge under the Peaceful Assembly Act 2012, the fourth time he has won a case in court over the same offence, and is now contemplating suing the Government for malicious prosecution.

Shah Alam High Court judge Justice Datuk Abdul Halim Aman ruled Friday that the Court of Appeal, which found Section 9(5) of the Peaceful Assembly Act (PAA) 2012 to be unconstitutional, had already acquitted Nik Nazmi for the offence.
