Anwar quizzed over allegedly seditious remarks

PETALING JAYA: Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had his statement recorded by police over a report lodged against him three years ago, where he allegedly uttered seditious remarks over his second sodomy case.

His lawyer, Latheefa Koya, said officers from the Ampang Jaya district police had quizzed Anwar on whether he had discussed sodomy during a ceramah in Taman Melawati, Gombak on March 25, 2011. A report was lodged against him three days later, she said.
