Victim's son grows up overnight

KUALA LUMPUR: Twelve days ago, Amarpal Singh was just another undergraduate, pursuing his medical studies.

All that changed on July 17 when Flight MH17 was shot down over eastern Ukraine, killing everyone on board, including Amarpal’s very own hero – his father Karamjit Singh, who was the family’s pillar of strength.
