MH17 crash: Malaysian authorities verifying whether crash linked to Russia-Ukraine conflict


PETALING JAYA: The Transport Ministry and the Armed Forces were still trying to verify whether the crashed planed was due to the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, said Deputy Transport Minister Datuk Abdul Aziz Kaprawi.

“There are many information circulating on the Internet now thus we must be verify each information.

“All relevant Malaysian authorities are making contact with their Russian counterpart at this moment,” he said when contacted Friday.

He added that the Prime Minister would be obtaining more information from MAS operation centre at the KL International Airport (KLIA)
