Najib: Clear SOP needed for shoot-on-sight authority


PUTRAJAYA: There must be a clear Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in place before security forces are given the authority to shoot on sight.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak (pic) said this was to ensure that ground personnel had a clear understanding of the situation that would allow them to exercise the power.
