KUANTAN: A bookie with international links who was busy receiving bets for the explosive England and Uruguay match early Friday was nabbed in a crackdown by the police.
Pahang CID chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Mohd Zakaria Ahmad said acting on a tip-off, a team of officers raided a popular kopitiam in Air Putih here at 1.40am under an operation codenamed Ops Soga.
