SEPANG: An air of nostalgia enveloped the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) as its operations drew to a close.

For the 3,550 staff of AirAsia, more than 1,000 personnel of various departments, such as Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB), Immigration Department and airport police, as well as outlet operators, the eight-year stay at the 390,000 sq ft terminal has been a bittersweet experience.
