Firefly aircraft turns back due to landing gear problem

GEORGE TOWN: A landing gear problem forced a Firefly aircraft to turn back to the Penang International Airport after flying for less than 30 minutes.

The ATR 72 aircraft which was carrying 64 passengers and four crew earlier departed from the airport at 6.55am to Kota Baru.
