Taiping, Malaysia's 'wettest' town, on brink of water rationing

TAIPING: The threat of water rationing looms over the nation's wettest town if rain does not fall here over the next few days.

State public utilities, infrastructure, energy and water committee chairman Datuk Zainol Fadzi Paharuddin said the two-week exercise, from April 3 to 16, would affect 27,982 residents living in two zones.
