KUANTAN: A Form One student died after he was ran over by a moving school bus which he was trying to get on in front of SMK Semambu near here on Tuesday.
Acting Pahang police administration and traffic enforcement officer ASP Zainalabidin Othman said Adam Daniel Abdullah, 13, died at the scene due to severe head and body injuries.
"In the 3pm incident, the victim was with a group of students who had dashed to the bus which was moving to the parking lot.
"It is believed that in the haste to get on the bus, the victim fell under the bus and was run over," he said when contacted by Bernama.
Police have recorded a statement from the 45-year-old bus driver who was also required to undergo a urine test. - Bernama
