Delegates prefer 'hands on' approach rather than ballots

KUALA LUMPUR: The majority of the MCA central delegates adopted the show of hands rather than the conventional secret ballot when casting their vote on the EGM resolution before them.

The 1,982 central delegates voted first to decide if they wanted to use the show of hands, and a majority of them opted for it. Only about 400 preferred the secret ballot.
