KAJANG: About 35,000 Balakong residents, suffering from dry taps for the last 24 hours, can heave a sigh of relief as three huge army tankers have been sent to distribute water.

Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishanmuddin Tun Hussein said Sunday that Syabas’ 12 water tankers were already stretched thin taking water to stricken areas as the dry season caused dam water levels to drop. The army decided to help out.
