FAMILYMART Malaysia has marked its 10th anniversary by unveiling a refreshed concept, “Life is Good with FamilyMart”, anchored on three pillars – Good Choices, Good Quality and Good Moments.

The updated concept sets the tone for FamilyMart’s second decade, with a focus on making everyday store visits more enjoyable.

Bringing more to everyday routines

According to the company, Life is Good with FamilyMart translates the brand’s vision into customer experiences through wider choices, consistent quality and more enjoyable store visits. It builds upon FamilyMart’s established value proposition of convenient and trustworthy halal-certified fresh, quality ready-to-eat food.

FamilyMart’s Everyday Craft Coffee range exemplifies the three pillars of Good Choices, Good Quality and Good Moments. Inspired by Japan’s takumi spirit of craftsmanship, care and attention to detail, the range features two new barista-approved blends, Sumiyaki and Kinu, each with distinctive flavour profiles to suit different preferences and moods.

Sumiyaki draws inspiration from traditional Japanese charcoal roasting, delivering a bold, robust and roasty flavour ideal for those who enjoy aromatic black coffee. On the other hand, Kinu, meaning ‘silk’ in Japanese, offers a smooth, balanced profile that pairs well with milk, making it particularly suited to lattes.

With introductory prices starting from RM0.99 and prices from RM3.90 thereafter, Everyday Craft Coffee aims to make quality coffee more accessible.

The pillar, Good Choices, focuses on fresh, flavourful and fulfilling food and beverages that cater to different tastes, budgets and evolving dietary choices. It also expands FamilyMart’s ready-to-eat food range, including heat-and-eat and off-the-shelf items suitable for different occasions and times of the day.

Customers can pop by for an onigiri or sandwich for breakfast, pick up a bento, pasta or oden for lunch or dinner, or swing by for a sweet treat at any time.

Oden FAMee now offers more variety, pairing a choice of noodles and oden items with five broths – Classic Fishball, Sukiyaki, Laksa Kahwin, Creamy Mala and signature Tom Yum, allowing customers to choose a different broth every day of the working week.

Expanding its dessert favourites, FamilyMart Malaysia is introducing brown sugar boba as a sofuto (soft serve) flavour for the first time, alongside the return of its fan-favourite sea salt sofuto in response to customer demand.

As for Good Quality, the pillar ensures that expanded variety is matched by consistent food quality, safety and standards. Central to this commitment is FamilyMart’s halal assurance. The brand works closely with the Malaysian Islamic Development Department (Jakim) across its central kitchens, logistics and in-store preparation counters, supported by ongoing staff training.

Completing the three pillars, Good Moments aims to turn routine store visits into more engaging and enjoyable experiences through rewards, surprises, community perks and opportunities for discovery. Two collections introduced under this pillar are:

  • FAMIMA by NIGO Collection, which brings the Japanese flagship merchandise collection curated by streetwear designer NIGO to Malaysia for the first time; and
  • Famibara line, an in-house collection created exclusively for Malaysian fans.

FamilyMart also plans to introduce more collaborations to enhance the customer experience.

More rewards and exclusive perks

At the heart of FamilyMart’s Good Moments are its fans, affectionately known as FAM. To celebrate its 10th anniversary, FamilyMart Malaysia is offering members more rewards, exclusive perks and anniversary offers.

The celebrations include RM10 anniversary bundles featuring FamilyMart Collection chips and tea, among other value deals. New users who download the MY FamilyMart app will receive a welcome e-voucher pack valued at RM100, while existing members can look forward to exclusive promotions, including deals starting from RM0.10, during its Super Member Day on Nov 10 and 11, 2026.

A decade of modern convenience

FamilyMart first opened its doors in Malaysia on Nov 11, 2016, with an emphasis on quality ready-to-eat food that caters to modern lifestyles. Since then, the brand has expanded its offerings to include a variety of quality, in-store prepared food and convenient meal options for customers.

As FamilyMart enters its next phase, the brand remains committed to continuous product innovation to fulfil its three-pillar promise, with the aim of enhancing the everyday experience of its customers.

The refreshed concept was introduced at a week-long anniversary roadshow at Sunway Pyramid’s Orange Concourse. It ends on Nov 9, 2026. Visitors can sample the newly launched menu items and explore interactive zones at the event.

MY FamilyMart app members can also preview the FAMIMA by NIGO Collection and Famibara collections at the on-site Mini Store ahead of their official launch in December 2026. Both collections are available for purchase in limited quantities, exclusively for app members.
