High Court orders caning for 'escaped Casanova' on top of earlier sentence

GEORGE TOWN: A High Court here has ordered the 'Casanova' computer technician K.K. Prabaharan, 46, to be whipped in addition to the punishment meted out to him by a lower court earlier this year.

On Jan 8, Jawi Magistrate Court sentenced him to five years' jail and a fine of RM10,000 each for two offences under Section 420 of the Penal Code for cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property.
