Body of contractor who drowned in Marang found


MARANG: The body of a contractor who drowned while looking for clams on the beach of Kampung Pasir Putih, here, was found Saturday.

State Fire and Rescue operations centre officer, Abdullah Zawawi Mohamad said the body of Abidin Ahmad, 39, from Bandar Cheneh Baru, Kemaman was found floating at 3.40pm, about 200 metres from the location he had reportedly drowned.
