SEPANG: Despite suffering frequent bouts of acute mountain sickness (AMS), a determined Siti Hanisah Sharuddin managed to scale Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania on Tuesday, the third peak in her quest to climb the highest mountains in seven different continents.
The 23-year-old from Felda Jelai 1 Scheme, Gemas in Negeri Sembilan succeeded in conquering the 5,895m mountain, the highest on the African continent at 6.45am local time.
