KUALA LUMPUR: As the balik kampung exodus from the Klang Valley began in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri festive holidays, Lebuhraya Utara-Selatan (PLUS) reported that traffic was generally smooth Wednesday on all major highways in the peninsula.
A PLUS Expressway Berhad spokesman said the number of vehicles on major highways was increasing but was still under control.
