JOHOR BARU: It was an emotional moment for Roselyn Alan, the mother of Nurul Nadirah Abdullah, when the High Court sentenced the girl’s murderer to death.

Roselyn, along with about 10 family members, burst into tears when High Court judge Datuk Abdul Halim Aman announced the sentence against Muidin Maidin, 27, for killing Nurul Nadirah, fondly known as Dirang.
