THEY said Thaipusam was going to be big in Penang this year. That with a new temple reputed to be the largest Murugan temple outside India, Hindus throughout the country would flock to the state.
They were right. If yesterday's events were any yardstick, Thaipusam in Penang today will probably be the biggest in years.
