Customs D-G: Slashing excise duty will impact on nation’s development

KUANTAN: Slashing the excise duty for cars will have an impact on the nation's development, said Customs director-general Datuk Khazali Ahmad.

He said the Customs Department's biggest revenue actually comes from excise duty for local and imported cars.
